| Nirvana is synonym for music which kick a man, who’s drowning in a muck or who’s experiencing nirvana in the right sense. Lyrics show to person an occasion, that he always can find something what he has no idea. Every song is seep indescribable by inward drive, whether as an expression of utter despair, skepticism, irony or personal freedom and fleeting happiness. There’s certain amount of philosophy, raw look of the world and that kind of healthy pissing off. I respect Kurt a lot of, I really respect him – he made short work of music, like the life made short work of him. But such rumors that God exists or exaggerated God-worship, are reproaching him for commercialism, which is a pity. Yeah, he is the legend and he’s left unquantifiable legacy, but he was man and he had own mistakes as we have mistakes too. I don’t know, if he would be enthused by girls wearing him on T-shirts more or less just because he commited suicide. In our memory he should be written mainly by great music, to which he gave a piece of himself, not just because he came to unfortunately resolutions of his inner fights with self-image. Nirvana isn’t only Kurt, but without Kurt Nirvana can’t function. Rest in piece, Kurt. |
